Diagnostics Policy Service not running + internet problems?

so today my laptop was working perfectly until it shut off. once it turned back on, the internet was connected but it said limited access. the internet is working on all of the other laptops, so i tried a troubleshoot to further determine the problem and it said the Diagnostics Policy Service is not running. Can someone please help me get it running again so my internet will work? if it helps im using windows 7 and im connected through wireless. please make the instructions really basic im only 13.

Welcome to Seven Forums shybear99. Sorry for the late reply. If you are still having this problem, try this:

Start> In search box type cmd> Right click cmd.exe in results above and choose Run as administrator> When the command prompt opens type

net localgroup Administrators /add networkservice

Press enter key

Type

net localgroup Administrators /add localservice

Press enter key

Type

Exit

Press enter key

Restart PC and try it now. A Guy

P.S. Being 13 doesn't mean you can't be a computer expert ;)
