Hi We have moved to NZ for a while
We only have Dial-Up where we are
Does anyone know of any tricks to try and get Telecom to give us ADSL
Or know anyone in the Business
Is it Possible to get ADSL from oversea's??
We have a Fibre Optic Cabinet only 100 Metres away But our Exchange could be quite a long way away But we have Neighbours not far off that have ADSL

Dial-Up Sucks

No.

They could be part of a separate exchange / your line may be on a pair-gain, no currently available ports etc.

Work out which exchange you are actually part of and which ISP's/ carriers have a DSLAM there. If your exchange/physical line has no ADSL limitations, keep applying until a free port opens up.

Another alternative would be to check what sort of wireless coverage is available in your area (if any).

Dial-Up Sucks
yeah, it does :(
