Solved Different BSOD errors

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but I'm hoping you can help me.
I need help with several BSOD errors that I've been getting these past few days. Its almost never the same error, and aside from these Blue Screens I got several freezes that don't get recorded. From what I noticed, these errors happen while I play Team Fortress 2 (didn't notice them happening in any other games repeatedly), when I watch YouTube vids, or just during start-up before Windows kicks in. Freezes happen randomly.
I ran a memory test and didn't find anything. I suspect the memory because I've noticed the memory usage constantly going up when the computer is idle, just like a leak. I've also noticed some weird patterns in the RAM usage. I'll attach a screenshot.

Please tell me where to start ... I've ordered some new RAM, since I think that may be where my problems come from. Unfortunately I can't buy any or the RAMs on the motherboards QVL, so I just went for some random Corsair that had good reviews.

1-ASACPI.SYS a major cause of BSOD's in the 2005 rev.

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005).

Thanks for the tip. I installed that driver (that didn't bother to let me save stuff before restarting the comp x.x), but it worked. I didn't check the file before but now it says it's been created sometime in 2009. I'll keep this post updated if i get more BSODs.

It worked fine for about 5h, then 2 more BSODs in about 5 mins. I was watching a video on the 1st one, and barely booting on the 2nd one.
I also got a "Enabling Unleashing Mode failed" during the startup where I selected something like "use default values".

I agree with your assessment of ram. Ram is very, very finicky. They have to m atch exactly.

I would run memtest to verify yours

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

I ran the memtest, got no errors with the 1st RAM in all slots (so i assumed that the slots and that 1st ram were ok), but i got 1 error on the 2nd RAM. I tested the second one 2 more times with no errors.

Do you think that 1 error could be causing all my problems? And do you think that changing the RAM with new ones that are also not on the QVL can help?

I rolled back to a 1 year old graphics driver, and that seemed to do the trick.
Anyway, thanks for the help zigzag. If I'll experience any more problems I'll make another thread.
