Hey there,

I know I've been on here before and had BSOD problems before, but these were resolved for a long long time :).
Unfortunatly I've been getting bsods again, as of the start of 2013.
I hope you guys will be able to help me out.
I'll attach the dump files.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

It's good, your using a OEM System Builder key :)

Have you looked for any BIOS updates? If you are unable to find any on the Support page from Acer, then you will have the latest BIOS update.

Have you had any other problems?

I've tried searching for BIOS updates before, but I failed on updating it.
I'm quite scared that something will happen while updating/flashing the BIOS because I have 0 experience with it.

Leave the BIOS update then, it was more of a optional suggestion, leave this thread open for about a week and then mark this thread as solved if you have no other problems.

Unfortunatly, 10 minutes after starting up my computer, I got a BSOD.
For some reason it did not leave a dumpfile behind.

I looked at the dump files instructions, and I already had minidumps enabled.
It's quite weird the BSOD didn't create a dump file.

Maybe the following is useful info:
Normally when I get a BSOD, at the top it would say something like "usbport.sys", however this time there was no such thing.

I don't have any file cleanup programs installed.

Yes, I've checked the folder.

Does driver verifier kind of analyse the drivers that causes a BSOD or does it try to stress drivers to force a BSOD?
Because a BSOD only happens shortly after startup (0-25 min). It never happens when my pc has been on for quite some time. Maybe this is useful info for you.

Hey there,
I've had my pc on until now and I just turned off driver verifier, stupidly I had no BSOD's while having it activated.
I found out that BSOD's sometimes dump as a minidump file and sometimes dump into one big file called MEMORY.dmp.
So I ran the .reg file to set it to only minidump.
(I believe I ran that .reg file a few months ago too)
