I'm fighting a losing battle against bluescreens and random program and games CTDs several times a day.
I've run a memtest, and that gave me no errors. I've updated and rolled back various drivers alot of times with no result. I've been googling these bluescreens online for days, with no definate solution being found.

The latest BSOD I had was, I believe, related to my network adapter? Had the newest version installed, since I have had this BSOD before, but I removed it and reinstalled it, so it remains to see how long it will take until the next bluescreen.

I've read anything I can out of the various diagnostic files, and being an amateur at these things, I hope someone here can read some actual solutions out of them. Now I can't play ARMA II, Total War Napoleon or Men of War Assault Squad as they will all eitehr CTD, or cause a BSOD.

Thanks in advance.

Hello fsmith.

Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver is failing here.
Code:

And this driver is somehow old.

Asmedia XHCI drivers are very old, too.

Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver is also failing.

So it may not be a driver failure itself. Still, first try to update the driver from https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx. Also, BitDefender sometimes causes network blockage. At least as a test, uninstall BitDefender. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

The display driver is also failing there.
Code:

The latest version of nvidia display driver is sometimes buggy. You may try to roll it back to an earlier one that worked good there. Follow Driver Rollback

Also, do some tests.

I've followed all the steps and updated all the drivers and firmware listed. (At least, I think I have found all!)
I've removed my graphics card driver, and installed an older version.
Even after I installed the newest (according to Intel's driver database at least) Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver, I got a bluescreen related to that once more. That was however beofre uninstalling Bitdefender.
I've unistalled Bitdefender, installed the software you recommended, and they found no thrats.

Furmark had my graphics card level out at about 80/81C after a couple of minutes.
Memtest found no errors this time either, but I'll run another one later just to have triple checked. However, I have installed new RAM after the problem started occuring, so I don't think it's the memory.
With Speccy I could see that while playing Men of War and Arma, somewhat resource heavy games, both GPU and CPU steadied at just above 60C.

The PSU is old and 550W.

A Speccy screenshot after hours of normal use is hard to get, as my computer will crash after only minutes of normal use (which is gaming in this case). However, I've attached a screenshot from after running the memtest.

I've attached a new SF summary.

With Stop 0x101's and Minidumps, there is very little practical information to work with, therefore we need to obtain a Kernel memory dump instead.

Please configure for a Kernel Memory Dump to be saved with - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/174459-dump-files-configure-windows-create-bsod.html

Once a BSOD has occurred, please upload it to a free file sharing site, like Skydrive or Dropbox and then post the link in your next post.

For now, try working through these steps - http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...0x101-clock_watchdog_timeout-troubleshtg.html

Thanks for the file, I'm just downloading it now, it may take some time (slow Internet connection :p)

Appreciating all the effort!
As to the troubleshooting guide, I've already ran the GPU and CPU stresstests, aswell as the memcheck. GPU and memory seems fine. The CPU stresstest is the one causing instant trouble. The last time, it seemed promising for 15 seconds, then Microsoft Security Essentials crashed, and right after stresstest crashed. No BSOD this time though.

I did the SFC.exe /scannow fix prior to the stresstest aswell, no solution there.

Tomorrow I will check the drivers as described in the guide, and if that doesn't work either, I'll pop an old CPU in the system and run more tests with that.

Really hoping you'll find something in that dump file though! I've spent months trying to fix this rig now.

This driver version seems to be a possible cause too, I would suggest trying a different driver version.

This is an Nvidia driver? Because I just rolled back to a previous version of the drivers, and now I'm left wondering, are there any Nvidia drivers that actually work...? Guess I'll roll it back further.

Your Intel Rapid Storage driver seems to be a possible cause, it seems to always cause problems, I would recommend removing the driver completely from your system, and then rebooting to allow Windows to use it's own msahci.sys driver.

Is it sufficient to just remove the file itself manually? I couldn't find any advice on how to remove it.

Your Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection driver seems to be a possible cause, are you running any Internet security programs, these can often cause the network drivers to be blamed.
I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials, as recommended here.

Your Intel chipset driver seems to be a possible cause, check for any updates from here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

Okey, found the drivers, goind to install them now.

For the Intel Rapid Storage driver, go to Device Manager, and then expand Disk Devices, you should see the driver listed, simply then remove the driver and reboot the computer.

The CPU is still questionable here.

Okey, so I stopped the driver and rebooted. Had no option to remove it that I could see.

After updating the chipset, I haven't had any more BSOD. I've run my Men of War and Arma 2 for hours, and they usually either crashed or CTD'd after a few minutes prior. Arma 2 still crashes after some time, but at least it doesn't bring the computer down with it anymore.

The CPU is indeed still at question. The stresstest can run for maybe 45 seconds now, before the program crashes. No more instant bluescreens there either at least.

Okey, I forced another BSOD with the stresstest now. It ran for maybe a minute. Before it died the program reported an error in one of the workers, but that was all I could read before it crashed. CPU temp was then at just above 90 degrees.
From the results file:
Code:
[Fri Jun 21 17:14:17 2013]
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file.
I'll try running it a few more times.

Edit:
Ran the stresstest one more time. Ran a bit longer, got a different BSOD, but got the same result first; error in worker 3.
Attached the freshest minidump.

Did you run the Small FFTs test? It seems your CPU is faulty.

Yes, that was the small FFTs test.
