The problem may be the Samsung SyncMaster 2333. In looking at the Tech specs on the Samsung site, I do not see anything that indicates that it is HDPC compliant. Try connecting only the other monitor and see if it will pass the Digital Cable Adviser. If it does, you might be able to reconnect the 2333 and have everything still work.

Samsung page is at "h**p://www.samsung.com/ph/consumer/monitor-peripherals-printer/monitor/lcd-monitor/LS23CFUKFV/ZA/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=specification"

I swear I tried that, maybe I didn't restart the computer after disconnecting the first time. Passed cable advisor now, but still fails to update playready.

One easy thing to try:

1. Make sure MediaCenter is not running (and Samsung 2333 is not connected)

2. Go to Control Panel, then click on "programs and features"

3. Search list of installed programs for "PlayReady" or PlayReady Runtime"

4. If found, "uninstall" program(s). This may require a re-boot.

5. Start media center. This should re-install "PlayReady".

6. If not found, here is a discussion of several fixes involving Registry edits that may solve your problem. I have never used any of them, so I can't personally recommend them.
