I am trying to find an answer to a problem i'm having... I have digital tv and every time I turn my computer on all my channels go out. any ideas? sometimes adjusting the antenna will let 1 channel threw. (always the same channel) I wont have digital tv for much longer but I would still like to learn as to why this is occurring. by the way it has something to do directly when my windows os kicks in. bios does not effect it and I did not have internet for along time an had no wireless signals in the area.

It sounds like interference from the computer. Computers do emit some radio interference which can interfere with your TV. It also sound like you have the TV antenna set up near the computer which will very likely be the cause. The best solution would be an outside antenna, which would be well away from the computer, but as you say you will not have digital TV for much longer, so I assume you are switching to cable TV, so an outside antenna would not be worthwhile.

ok thank you for responding, yea the antenna is within 20feet of the computer since I stream everything over to the tv. I just find it weird that only when my OS is loaded I loose the channels, you would think that if the hardware was on then it would make a difference but that is not the case.

Are you using a TV antennae to receive over the air broadcast TV?
Or are you using a router?
Is the TV connected to your Home Network to coonect to the internet?
