Hi. Running Win7 x64, I have DirectX 11, and DirectX Diag shows all working fine.
I am trying to run an application (called SweetFX) which needs to have DirectX 9 dlls installed to run. I have downloaded the runtime update from Microsoft's website, but if I install this, is it going to replace my DirectX 11 with v.9.0c (which I obviously don't want)? Or will v.9 and v.11 co-exist on the same PC? In other words, will running dxwebsetup.exe for DirectX 9 just install the necessary files, but still leave me with v.11? Or will dxwebsetup.exe refuse to run on a machine with DirectX 11 on it?
Advice welcome! Thanks.
