Disabling ctrl-alt-tab function

I use FrameMaker a lot. In FM the key combination ctrl-alt-tab moves the cursor one cell down in a table. Very convenient when I want to change many cells in a column. Windows 7 has "hi-jacked" that key combination so instead of moving in my table I get a view of all the open programs and files on my computer. As there are several other ways to show this (alt-tab gives the exact same result) I am wondering if I somehow can turn off that function in Windows 7. As I have worked with FrameMaker for 12 years, it's in my fingers and I get very irritated when the result isn't what I wanted. OK, I can manually move down in my table by using the mouse or click esc-t-m-d, but it's so much more time consuming!

Hi Lena and welcome

One way you could is to get one of the third party key mapping applications.

In case someone would also hit this page when searching for solution: To disable CTRL+ALT+TAB, you can enable the XP alt+tab switch by creating a DWORD Value called “AltTabSettings” at My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer and setting it to “1“.
