After disabling Teredo Tunneling-Interface(TTI) I gained back 10% of my system resources in Windows 7 and it fixed a problem with Symantec 360 v3 pop-ups. Ever since I first loaded Windows 7 I had immediately had problems with Symantec's security suite. Getting pop-ups that notified me of being connected to a shared network. I've been searching for weeks now to figure out how to either disable the pop-ups or get an updated from Norton. I'd go through the logs of the security history and see that I was having what looked like hex mac addresses either attempting to connect or disappear from TTI. Finally last night I came upon a site that showed 3 simple commands on how to disable TTI, because it is not a necessary service. In fact, it'd be good to read up on it, because it might become useful to turn back on if the internet ever upgrades to IPv6. Anyways, after doing this I noticed a 10% gain from my system's monitor gadget and Windows even asked me to re-run my Windows Experience Index (WEI). I'm still in some ways wondering why it took up so much of my resources?
