Disaooearing Gadget Question

Hi,

No big deal, as easy to re-install, but was wondering about this.

I have a "Gadget" on my Desktop.
It's a Clock.

Every few weeks, it just disappears.

My other Gadgets (other clocks, calendar, weather) do not.
Actually, on very rare occasions, one or more actually has, but it is very rare.

Is this likely a fault of the particular Gadget itself, or something about the placement of it on the Desketop, or...?

What might cause ?

My personal experience has been that gadgets can be quirky. I have not been able to associate any particular rhyme or reason for the behavior.
