Disappearing Gadgets

My gadgets have disappeared from my desktop and despite investigation into gallery & downloading new gadgets I do not have any success. Advice please

Hi and welcome

open task manager by rigth clicking task bar. go to process tab. see if the process sidebar.exe is running. if not type sidebar in search. if it is we need to do some more digging.

let us know the result
