Disk Management issue

I get an error "The pack name is invalid" when trying to convert HDD to dynamic disk. What does it mean? Is it solveable?

Heres the MS support page for your problem.

On Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7, non-ASCII characters in Computer Name will cause problems with dynamic disk conversion
