I have four Sata 3 ports and two Sata 6 ports on my motherboard. I plugged my SSD in one of the Sata 6 ports, one HDD in the other Sata 6 port, and my other HDD in a Sata 3 port when I first got my PC in the summer. In Disk Managment my SSD is showing as Disk 2. I didn't worry about it because everything is working fine. Today I had some time on my hands and went in and reversed the two cables in the Sata 6 ports. I looked in Disk Managment and nothing changed. My SSD still shows as Disk 2 and the other HDD shows the same Disk as if nothing had switched. Shouldn't something have been different?
