disk partition

Guys, I need help regarding resizing disk C. I try allready shrink function in disk managment but it wont let me resize it to 50Gb wich is ok for system software to work and update...any help would be great....Laptop is HP Pavilion DV6 ..it's stupid to have 230Gb on C disk and not to be able to shrink it or resize it..when instaling from D disk..recovery...it doesn't give me posibility to merge disks..only install !!!!

Partition Wizard is a very good free third party utility that can do all the tasks you want. Be careful with the program it is powerful and you can end up deleting your own partition.
