Disk partiton problem

hi friends,
my c partion is running out of disk space my total disk space is 300gb

C : 40GB
D :40GB
E :220GB

c drive has (boot,crash dump)
d drive has (page file(windows 7) & personnel use)
e drive has (perssonnel use)

i want to increase the c drive size.
i am using disk management
it does not allow me to extend the c disk
d drive cannot be formatted as it contains the page file of operating system
e drive has more space but i am unable to add in c drive
so please tell me how to increase the c drive space
i have attached the ss of hardisk management

Download a program called Partition Wizard and use that. If you don't want to install, or don't have room, they have a bootable.iso you could use.

Then you could slide E to the end of the drive, slide D down next to E, and then combine C and the unallocated space.

On a side note, I'm not sure who set up the drive that way, but that is too confined. I personally don't go over 2 partitions per disk, as this is one of a few reasons why.

You seem to have ended up with a dynamic disk rather unfortunately.

I can't recall what partition wizard allows you to do with those.

I missed that. Not sure how you ended up with a dynamic disc. But, my suggestion still stands. Partition Wizard can handle them.

Change your disks from dynamic to basic before proceeding any further. A good third party partition manager boot disk would be able to handle that quite easily. Read at http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/26829-convert-dynamic-disk-basic-disk.html
