Display Dimmin Issues

i have already tried all solutions online,

set dim at 40%

and regular at 40%

still dimming

help me!

Hi. HP (and Compaq) notebooks often come with an ambient light sensor - which dims the display automatically based on the amount of light in the vicinity. in my opinion this feature is more trouble than it's worth.

Check if your system has this and I'd recommend turning it off.

I think it is toggled on/off via the Fn+F10 or F11 key (I'm not in front of my system so not sure exactly)
