Display Driver Error: The video playback device does not support playback of protected content.

I upgraded my processor from an AMD A6 7400K dual core to an A10 7700K quad core and replaced my 2 1TB drives (configured as Drive D) with one 2TB drive. Now I receive the above error when I try to watch live TV with WMC. The channel views for a few seconds then displays the error (see attached picture).

Everything else is the same. I'm using a Ceton infiniTV 4 tuner card and a Comcast cable card which I had reconfigured/ activated with no change. I went through the cable setup again with no change.

I found out if I "Restore Down" the WMC window the playback mysteriously starts working again. Then I "Restore Up (Maximize)" window again and everything is fine. I haven't figured out exactly when it stops again.

event3horizon - thanks for the link. I read the entire post and have to get my courage/ patience up to poke around some more. This should be easier than this.

I read over the link above. I first tried what ESEssgeeskee (replied on April 13, 2014See post history) on 3rd page, but this didn't work. I then tried from the beginning (Shinmila H replied on September 26, 2010See post history), but had the same problem some of the others were having like not able to delete some files because file in use by program, etc. I finally re-added WMC and everything worked. I no-longer received the message.
