Display driver intel graphics accelerator drivers PROBLEM

Everytime I use explorer on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, my screen turns black and then displays the the intel graphics accelerator drivers has stopped responding and has recovered. Im very frustrated with this as to it is really causing my pc to not work properly. Any input would be very helpful. Thx.

you could try & reinstall the driver in ''safe mode'' the original install may be corrupted somehow....

how hot is your laptop..?? heat could be causing the GFX unit to fail & recover....

I have a laptop cooler. My laptop never tends to overheat. I just think that i dont have the right display driver for windows 7. Im having trouble finding the right one. I have the mobile intel(R) 965 express chipset family. Thx for the response.

Will suggest going directly to Toshiba's support site and try the vista certified video drivers for your lappy

i had just the same problem..having the same intel chipset as you..

Then I found this forum Tablet PC and Mobile PC Forums - Windows 7 On Lenovo X200. HELP!

and the solution turns out to be very easy..

1. The new Prerelease WDDM 1.1 Driver for Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family is absolutely the cause.

what I did was reinstall the previous version of the driver and VOILA...works like charm..

Install the previous version of the driver here

That driver works fine on my laptop but then it is a 45 model not 65...

what I think you can do is go to Toshiba website and download the driver for Vista..And try to install it.tell me if it works...

the problem with Intel new driver might have been because it's still in the pre-released phase....

tried with a Fujitsu S7110, (Intel 852/855) I get an error that says:

"System does not meet minimum hardware requirements"

then the installation quits...

hi the thing on my comp is that i think its just not compatible and i install it and now idk how to delete it can u help me with that..or u know give me the link to downloaded it for windows seven ultimate...family intel mobile 45 chipset,intel pentium dual cpu T3400 i think thats all if u can help me or nood more information just say it to me thnx
