Solved display is short

Not a biggie but my screen has been shortened. It takes up about 85% of the width of the monitor. It's really frustrating. you change one thing and everything changes.

Can't you change the screen resolution.

It's running at recommenced settings (1920x1080). I'm no longer savvy enough to know what to change.

Double check your display's DPI settings to make sure it's set to 96 DPI (100%) to see if that may be the issue.

Some questions for you:

1) Do you have the latest video drivers installed for your graphics card?

2) What did you change that you were referring to in your first post?

3) Do you have a restore point available dated before this happened to do a system restore with?
