Display no longer working.

Ok i know this is not a Xp forum but this place helped allot with my Seven machine i would rather yalls help.

So its a Xp machine i have set up in my 2nd room as a internet only machine.What happens was Sunday night for the bowl i moved my TV out side. But while doing that unplugged the wrong plug and My running Xp machine shut down. Well yesterday i fired it back up after putting Tv back(which is my monitor i use.) and i have a Display durring start up (post screen) and i even get the windows Xp logo starting. But after that screen no longer displays and my tv has no signal. So i thought maybe i should try a regular monitor and same problem. Now if i start is safe mode its fine and even VGA mode its fine. But both are limited and i checked and drivers are still installed. I did Remove card and start up it beeped. Shut down and reinserted card still no luck. Even set bios to defult and optimized setting.

Same problem if i run HDMI or RGB. My mobo dosent have a on-board video.

Since your puter works in safe mode, this may tell you where the problem is.

I have to use W 7 answers, but its the same as XP in principle

Well thanks thats why i came here.

Ok now really not good. Safe mode wont load. Gets stuck at the driver screen. Any safe mode i try. Vga mode runs same as normal. Last known wont work.

Something i forgot was that it does fully boot the windows just no display. ( can hear the windows start up sounds) So im stuck now cant even what u suggested,

Man if i did not need all i installed on it i would just fresh install Seven. Once i get this working thats where i heading.

If I understand correctly everything is working, except the monitor. If so, we had this problem in Vista. We did not find the solution but may suggestions and your cause is different. Read and decide for yourself.

Just a update.... I couldn't get it working so i just pulled the HD out and put it in another Pc and copied all files i needed. Then installed a fresh copy of Win 7 64.

Thats fine, we at the forum give our opinions and hope to help. As long there is a happy outcome everything is good. Glad that you got it working.
