Display Projection Switch Problems

I have my TV set as main display and my monitor set as secondary. When i use win+P to switch to duplicate mode the TV will time out and go black after about 15 min. Anyway to stop this from happening?

do you have either a screen saver or sleep enabled. If you have turn off monitor after x mins that is prob it

Thanks for the quick reply. I had it set to turn displays off after 30 min, setting it higher and will test to see if that helps.
