When I go to some forum the banner/header and navigation get messed up and someone suggested it could be a screen resolution problem and I was wondering what resolution should my resolution be set to? Currently it is set to 1024 X 768.

If you right click anywhere on your desktop you will be presented with a few options, one of which is "Screen resolution". This will give you the ability to adjust your resolution from "high" to "low" and a few settings in between.
Try the different settings until you find one which presents the pages you are trying to view in the best possible way.

cgrim29588, type in "device manager" in the search box after clicking on your "Start" button.
Click on "Display Adapters" and then right click on the adapter that appears. Choose "Update Driver Software". Windows will then search for the latest driver available for your display adapter.
