Problem getting a game to load. Rockstar, Wildmetal. Its an older game but, its fun.

I can get it to run really well if I reinstall it every time I boot up. Runs great, no hesitations and I can play
all night if I wish. As soon as I shut down or reboot I have to reinstall the game again to play.

It starts to load and this is the error I get; “DMA video function was called without DLL being loaded.”

Specs are: Asrock 775 dualvsta
Pentium 4 3.4 G
Nvidia 8600GT
1 G memory Corsair
CD-DVD
Creative 7 speaker sound
Feedback MS joy stick
Nothing overclocked right now.
OS Win 7 64 bit

Thanks for any help I may get

Try running as admin. Also try some of the comp modes by right clicking, selecting the comp tab, and then enabling one of the modes, i.e Win XP SP 3
