Rather than designating the DNS server in your IPv4 settings windows, remove that entry from IPv4 and type the preferred DNS servers into your routers set up page instead. Once you get that done run the following file.

Lets try flushing DNS cache and renewing your IP.

Flush the DNS cache and restore MS's Hosts file ...
Copy and paste these lines in Note pad.

@Echo on
pushd\windows\system32\drivers\etc
attrib -h -s -r hosts
echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
attrib +r +h +s hosts
popd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset all
netsh int ip reset all
shutdown -r -t 1
del %0

Save as flush.bat to your desktop. Right click on the flush.bat file to run it as Administrator.

Your computer will reboot itself.

So you have tried resetting your router?

If you can post your ipconfig/all again it would be helpful, fully expanded if you can. Maybe using a different DNS like Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 typed into your routers DNS settings would be worth doing. :)

I've tried the google dns, no success. attached are ipconfig for both changes ....

It looks like you typed the Google DNS into your IPv4 properties window rather than your routers DNS settings? It might be worth it to only type those same DNS servers into the routers DNS servers list and remove the entries from IPv4. We only want the default gateway showing up for the DNS server in the ipconfig.

I also see quite a few extra adaptors there like Bluetooth and a couple others, try disabling the ones you aren't using for the internet connection. After that run the .bat file again. :)

How do i change the dns on router?

You need to access your routers set up page by typing the default gateway into the URL of your browser. For your router that would be 192.168.100.254, this according to your ipconfig. :)

If you haven't reset your router that might be a good option at this point.
