DNS Server isn't responding. HELP!

I recently ran into a problem with my DNS server, I have searched for solutions but nothing is working for me.

When i troubleshoot it keeps saying that "The DNS server isn't responding". But it's only for every 10 min or when i open forexample Spotify the DNS server shuts down.

I've seen this stuff in some of the other threads about DNS, I hope someone can help me, it's getting a bit annoying

Hi oNexEON and welcome to W7 Forums

I'm assuming that you are using a router, as your ipconfig indicates. Log in to your router, and then, with reference to the router's documentation, change the DNS settings to Google's: Primary 8.8.8.8 Secondary 8.8.4.4

The following is for a Netgear router. Othe routers may vary, but the principle is the same.

Log in to your router's web interface. The settings can be found under Basic Settings > Domain Name Server (DNS) Address. Fill in the appropriate boxes with the IP addresses I mentioned above, having ensured that the option Use These DNS Servers is checked. Changes to these settings are effective immediately. Click Logout and then close the window.
