Solved Do I need a driver?

Hello guys,

I'm buying an Iphone in about a week's time (either Iphone 3 or Iphone 4). I'm just wondering if I need to download a driver so my PC recongizes it OK.

Offtopic: this will be my very first smartphone ever, I'm treating myself an early gift for Xmas (although I do not celebrate it).

The reason why I'm saying either is because I'm bidding for an Iphone 4 on ebay, but if I lose out I have found a buyer who is selling Iphone 3 (several for just £100) also on ebay. So either way I will get one next week.

So all I'm asking is do I need a driver?

Once it's plugged in it should be recognized automatically along with the driver installation.

Wow wish I could afford an iPhone, I must be in the wrong benefit wonder if they'll let me swap from being a pensioner to being on the dole seems you're better off. :sarc:

I'm only able to afford one, because one of my expenses has gone down etc, also I had noticed the other day most of my young friends have got iPhones so I thought I'll better get one. Also I have nearly always fancied one any way, but I always thought they were beyond my budget, but I was wrong.

I'm totally convinced.. those who choose welfare over working for a living.. do NOT, nor should ever have those toys.. so many are carrying around with them now days, on my tax dollars..
FREE stuff isn't FREE , someone of us, pays for those, who do NOT work to have such luxuries,

As someone who paid into the system for just over 50 years, I'm now on a basic pension which if I got a fair return for my investment should be at least four times what it is. But then I have always worked for a living and paid my dues. Was I daft all those years?
