Do I need Ultimate for Russian language input?

Just like the title says, would I need to buy the Ultimate edition to keep the option for Russian language input? Or does language pack simply make the whole UI in another language?

You don't. Ultimate lets you swap the GUI into Russian, but you can use cyrillics within Internet Explorer, Word, Etc on any version of W7 providing you set up things correctly.

Wonderful, I was concerned that I'd have to pay so much extra for something so basic, though I did figure that what you had said might be the case. BTW I called MS sales to ask the same question and the agent literally read me the features off of the back of the box rather than actually figuring out the right answer...
