Do we need a power of attorney to share web based accounts (See password sharing decision) in the U.S.?

We have one computer, she uses my computer and she checked my email & I have checked hers. I have helped her setup accounts & we know each others passwords for our accounts.

There is a debate whether the password sharing decision means.

Does this mean only the account holder can access the web based accounts or can the household access it?

Does this decision only apply to sharing passwords from your employer?

Does this make Microsoft family account illegal in the U.S. or is that one way people could continue sharing email by setting up a family account?

I have done a clean install of Windows 7 using Dell re-installation disk (Dell sent me one). I also use Free Macrium reflect backup and restore.
I've read about that decision. The strange thing is that LastPass has a password sharing thing so that you can securely send passwords to others if you want to share them. I guess that password sharing depends upon the type ao app you're using and it's terms and conditions. If licensed per user it makes sense that passwords cannot be shared.

As far a ISP email and paying, it is ok because I added her to my cable/isp account with full access.

As far as accessing each medical records online, with both have H.I.P.P.A

The issue comes when you not an authorized user to access each others online accounts.

The issue is if one of us goes to the hospital, the other person will need access to pay his or her bills online. We both have health issues.

There is possible one way around it, use autologin. This way you are not sharing your password. The only issue would be two factor authorization, then you have to enter the password.
