Do you hate spoliers?

I mean if there's a game you never played before or maybe a book or movie do you avoid all plot information on because you don't want to ruin to the story? I just go read the plot on Wikipedia before playing some games and even some movies. It doesn't ruin anything to me because if I know how a game ends if the game its self is good to me knowing the story shouldn't make it any more boring. If it is video In less the video is something I'm really looking forward to knowing some of the story before watching it is OK to me.

Usually doesn't bother me much. Now a sports game I do not want to know the outcome if I'm watching it recorded.

Not realy. some times i read spoiler for upcoming movies or tv show's. althog in games in would bother me if somevone would spoil it for me.

I don't like spoilers. Personally I find it detracts from the overall experience, regardless of the medium.

When you expect a key moment that is coming, that is what you wait for and it's usually anticlimactic.

Teasers are fine - they whet the appetite, but knowing the outcome beforehand simply sucks.

Doesn't bother me in the least, I don't watch many movies and not much TV either so the outcome doesn't make any difference to me. I'm not a sport fan so that's something else where any result would spoil it.

Ditto. I only read and play videogames. There's not much to spoil about books unless you actively go to websites discussing the title in question so book spoilers are rarely a problem for me. As for videogames, I actually go out to read up guides; I can't afford to spend days blundering around to find all the secrets and stuff unlike back when I was in school.

Does it detract from the experience? Perhaps, but the flipside is to play the game until the end only to realise I missed out on a whole bunch of stuff (too many games have low replay value, it's generally not worth the effort to play it again just to get what you missed before). Hence, guides. Sure, I'd appreciate it if the spoilers were kept to a minimum, but I wouldn't complain if the only guides around were full walkthroughs.
