I just upgraded to Windows 7 yesterday and love it so far! I just printed out a seven page PDF file and no problem or so I thought...I tried to print another 10 page PDF file and nothing happened so I went to see what was the hold up. The previous job is still stuck in the queue and it says "Deleting" except, well, it's not deleting. I need to print out a lot of stuff for college this upcoming week, please help.

Try resetting the printer, aka turn it off then on.

Try uninstallling, then installing it again. This is the best I can do without knowing more about your printer, etc.

edit How about system restore?

Disconnet the printer, then unplug it. Plug it back in, re-connect it (it will go through it's settings) then open it and delete the document, if it's still there.

It's a Lexmark X1240 All-In-One printer.

I also already had downloaded the updated driver before printing. I tried the solutions in this thread and wasn't successful except rich's suggestions, I haven't tried uninstalling yet.

There's a little batch file on the MS web site that will sort this problem out at the click of a mouse. But you'll have to search for it
(It's a pretty wide spread problem, and if you ask me it's really a bug that they haven't ever sorted out.)

The mouse took most research. I hate that click on the wheel, this one has the old fashioned smooth wheel. There aren't many about.
