Hi tried to register at tenforums but "server issue" with captcha won't let me. Tried 3 times so no option but to come here.
Please bear with me as I'm not advanced with tech stuff generally but my questions should be easy to answer.
1) Recently updated to Win 10 from Win 7. Everything ok so far but it's changed or messed up my access to the Documents and Downloads folders. With Win 7 if I downloaded an image from say canstockphoto the file would appear in my Downloads folder on the list. I'd then select the file and the "Open" option would appear at the top and then the "Preview" option. Clicking that would open up Paint where I could resize the image, click ok then go back to the Downloads folder and rename it then upload it elsewhere. Now it's all unclear and the image files appear as images and not file names and I can't see how to carry out the above tasks (opening, getting into Paint, resizing renaming etc) Can someone refer me to or give me step by step instructions on how to carry out these what used to be simple steps.
2) I also can no longer see how to actually open files in the documents folder, say if I want to c&p it to somewhere else. Again it used to be clear and simple with Win 7 but there's now a bewildering array of stuff none of which simply says "open" so how do I do that?
