Tabbed Browsing.. wonder who's idea it truly was.
Omnibar (Search bar combined with taskbar)
Half awake so cannot think of many, but browsers provide a good example.
One company takes something thats good, and can either make it better or just as good in their own way.

Often times ease-of-use convergence makes it seem like companies are copying each other when they really arent.
If you can't tell that the windows 7 task bar is 100 times more useful and dynamic than the lame OSX tray then i don't know what to tell you
