Hi guys, I was trying to install Mandriva Linux but with Drake X partitioning. After it finished creating a partition, an error came up but it took 100GB of my hard drive, and I can't even boot into Mandriva and I can't delete it on Windows 7 (only boot able OS atm) So can anyone help me out? I can't format my hard drive because I don't have any recovery method or money >.<

Think you might get a better answer on Mandriva's forum.
What do you want to delete? The Mandriva install? If so you could just re format that partition as NTFS, that will delete it.
Alternatively, doesn't Mandriva contain a partioning tool? If so that should see both your Linux install and Windows.
Sorry, I'm not really clear what you want to do. If you could post a snip of Disk Management and be more explicit it'd be good:)

  • What version of Mandy are you trying to install?
  • Did you first create an unallocated section on the drive using Windows or Windows based partitioning software?
  • Did you use the Drake X default settings or go custom?
