I bought for a down and out friend a 2.1 set of Creative speakers via NewEgg. When they arrived my friend was overwhelmed to the point of being speechless. I had built a rig for him recently less a monitor, mouse & keyboard and speakers. But learning that his 10+ old speakers had sqwaked their last sqwak I bought and sent this 2.1 set of Creative speakers on sale at NewEgg. Well I had a visit with my friend (2 hr. drive) about 2 months after purchase and was aghast at the buzzing from the little satellites at lower normal volumes. My friend didn't want to complain I'm sure because they at least made noise and were a gift, but I'm trying to get them replaced but NewEgg has said as their past 30 days recourse is with Creative and that's were I'm lost trying to get support. If anyone has a method that has worked getting through to Creative Labs please offer it to me.

Yes I'm generous of heart and what limited resources and monies I have. I encourage all to be selfless at times though I'm far from perfect in that area I try when I can to help, makes me feel good ! Thanks for the address with that have a number but it's still a challenge as you have to have an extension with some of these tricky automatized systems.

Zero way to reach Creative Labs to inform them of my issue. The level of my frustration and disappointment just means that as long as I live no more creative labs products will be used in any of my builds !

That link I've tried four times and no response yet, very sad as before this I've been considering a sound card but now I'll never ever consider any Creative product. I just can't in this day and age tolerate a company with zero customer support in place.
