It can hopefully fix your problem, but it shouldn't cause you any. It's just a GUI for automated fixes you would otherwise have to do manually. It seems to be well thought of. A Guy

I've tried it. Can't say it actually helped at all, but I downloaded it the first day it was available. They've probably updated since then, so it may work better now. No harm in trying it out, as all it really does is search MS's help and KB libraries.

Also spend some time periodically studying your Event Viewer's Administrative View to research repeat errors. Google gets hits on almost any error when you type in some of its text and identifiers. If something needs fixing, it will often show up there.
Always send problems to MS for possible fixes. You may even have some cued by typing "Problems" into Start Search box.
