Solved Does migwiz(Windows easy transfer) Back-up (Group) Policies?

Hello everyone!,


i'll have a question about migwiz(Windows easy transfer.) I want to back up my account file's cause i'll have a bad reading sector on my HDD. wich is no problem with this tool. But i'll also want to back-up my Group policies that are made in mcc.exe, and i want to back up my network shared partition the way i set it up. According to migwiz. it saves my system settings. But i'm not sure if he backs up all the pollicys i made i'll already exported, mine policy, files and saved it just in case. But it would be great if it works with migwiz.

Hello Samboy,

I'm afraid that Windows Easy Transfer just copies personal files (documents, music, pictures, etc). It does not backup programs or Group Policy settings.

How does Windows Easy Transfer make setting up a computer easier?
