Does the Activation via Phone is infinite use?

Last month, after I installed Windows 7 32-bit OEM on my sister's PC and successfully activated Windows through the phone, I wanna ask if the second phone activation or further using the same OEM disc would be valid for infinite use.

rou22, OEM versions of software are restricted to the one machine they are installed on. MS keeps track for a while of the install of oem copies of their software. your answer is NO..

All normal retail and OEM licenses are restricted to use on one machine at a time - any machine being activated with the same code later is likely to make the first machine turn 'non-genuine' at some point.

As Rich has already said, OEM licenses are further restricted to use ONLY on the motherboard on which they were first activated, except under certain very specific circumstances. Automated Telephone activation of such machines will not be approved unless the confirmation codes generated match - and operators are trained to ask penetrating questions of anyone who attempts to activate an OEM Key on a second motherboard for any reason.

Correct. Multiple Windows 7 retail licenses were withdrawn from the market. But they did exist - I think.

They existed at launch of Win 7 - were withdrawn around march 2010 and relaunched around October - to be withdrawn again in 2011. (all from memory)... Get Windows 7 for the whole family.

This offer has long expired and there has been no replacement.

I've read some of your replies, and I guess it'll not work if attempting another phone activation. I might buy another one although they're really expensive (much more than a price of new PC game). Thanks for suggestions guys

Next time I buy a Windows, I should've create an image backup after the activation, and copy to another new PC (I've seen that in some topics here). I was working at a small computer shop btw.
