Does the Voltage Monitoring have to match something on a PC?the CPU or

I'm assuming this is for a motherboard. If so, then that's just a feature that is included to monitor the voltage usage of those type of power connections on the motherboard. For example, fans, connected drives, CPU, PCI-E cards, etc... That's all.

Yes i want to buy and install a motherboard and a CPU and i don;t know anything about this, so i was just wondering what that is and if i need to buy a motherboard and a CPU that match eachothers voltage or the video card voltage(if it has one) or the power supply in some way. But you're saying it doesn't matter?

No, the voltage doesn't matter in this case, but you will need to look at the motherboard's specs to see what CPU and socket type it supports so you will know what CPU to get for it.

As for power, you will just need to add up how many watts the devices use that will be connected to the PSU and motherboard. This way you can make sure that the PSU wattage rating is high enough to be able to handle what the devices need and have a bit extra to be safe.
