Hello! I inadvertently opened Windows Live Mail Photo Gallery when I tried to log in to Windows Live Mail - and now I am worried that the program will keep trying to connect to the internet and the cloud for photo storage. Does that program try to do that?

I never use the sign in for Windows Live Mail - but in trying to email a slideshow - I did sign in once, and now I see that program in my network connections list from time to time. If it does try to access the internet, I would like to know how to disable it so that it never does! I have a very limited internet connection and can't have a wayward program trying to upload photos to the cloud or accessing the internet.

I should add that I am using a Win 7 computer and Windows Live Mail 2011, I believe.

Thanks!

If you close it then it won't connect when you load it then it will check for emails there should be an option connect every x mins which you can disable

Thanks! So is the setting within Windows Live Mail Photo Gallery itself? I did look around while I was offline and didn't see anything that might stop the connection. I guess maybe the best thing is just not to use it at all.

Thanks again for the help!
