DOK installation won't boot

How to Install Windows 7 From USB Drive without Windows 7 ISO DVD

did this guide 10 times.
this time something now working.
removed the U3 application
formatted.
did what the guide says
but when it tried to boot i get:
file: \boot\bcd

0xc0000225

an error occurred while trying to read the boot configuration data.

what can i do?

Did the OS install past the first stage then reboot leaving you at this screen?
If so,make sure your hard drive is boot priority 1 in BIOS.

We can move on from there then.

Incase im not around when you see my reply,if you can access the repair console either by clicking Repair instead of Install from the USB or pressing F8 during startup (if it works) and try running repair install three times (if it works the frst time its good enough)

If that doesnt work,try entering these commands at from the cmmand line of the repair console.
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr

If none of the above works,can you download Partition Wizard Bootable disc and tell us what it says

Press 1 for the resolution setting,ok to the warnings.
The drive your installing to should be Primary and Active.
If not right click the partition>Modify>Set as Primary>Click Apply

Right click again>Modify>Set as Active>Click apply

Have you made sure in BIOs that it will boot from USB?

If you have,i dont think the usb was made bootable.
I cannot vouch for the guide you are using,but Brink is thee person when it comes to tutorials.
