Hello I have an Acer 4752 laptop with pre-install dolby advanced audio v2. However, unfortunately since i have updated my Reaktek drivers the program has ceased to function . My Dolby Driver version is 7.2.7000.7
Any suggestions for any direct download links for this driver, or any other methods to get this program back would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks.
Steve.

Was there any particular reason you updated the Realtek drivers?

Have you tried a System Restore to a time prior to updating the driver?

Yes i have tried a system restore but to no avail. i didn't realise that by updating the realtek audio drivers via Driver genius would affect the dolby program

I know nothing about Dolby Advanced Audio v2, but a few comments:

I would be generally suspicious of driver update gizmos such as Driver Genius.

I would not update a known good and working Realtek Audio driver without a very good reason.

If I decided to upgrade Realtek Audio, I would get the driver from my motherboard manufacturer directly.

I'd try to roll back that driver update via Device Manager and/or go to your motherboard manufacturer's site and see what they have to offer for new audio drivers (if anything).

Thanxs again for all your help. I'm beginning to realise now that you don't always have to keep the latest drivers.

Hello & thank you for solving this problem for me. I re-installed the original Realtek driver & this returned my Dolby program to normal.
Thanxs once again.
