hey guys i dont to reformat my disk. I wonder how to do that while im installing windows 7

I have WIndows vista sp2

you can install Windows to the same partition Vista is on, as long as there is enough free space.

Vista will be moved to a folder named Windows.old

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.

You always have to choose Format to get a formatted install, and it is only available when booting from the installer and choosing Custom> Advanced Tools, which also lets you delete partition(s), create new one(s) and then format, or just format over existing partitions. But you have to actively choose it.
