double click a folder gives this error ?? I just installed IE 9 - Not sure if this is related .. Thanks People ..

Hello Total,

You might see if downloading and merging the Directory and folder options in the tutorial below may be able to fix this for you afterwards. It restores the default settings and associations for these.

If not, then you can do a system restore using a restore point dated before this happened to hopefully fix it.

I downloaded the folder associations reg file - and life is good again thanks a million
