double click on graphic viewed by xnView without warnings?

I use a specialized graphic viewer on Win7 Pro-64 that can read OpenEXR files. I'd like to be able to double click on one of the graphic files associated with that viewer, and have it display the graphic without the dialog asking if I want to allow this unknown publisher to make changes. I don't want it to make changes, just to display the image. I'd prefer not to disable the UAC. How can I set this up? Thanks!

Wouldn't that only work for creating a shortcut to start the program? In this case, double clicking on the image (different images each time), would start the program (so, there wouldn't be any shortcut involved)?

Well in this case, disabling UAC seems to be the only option.

There must be some way to do it, make an app 'trusted'? After all, I can double click on a file Photoshop opens and not get a warning?
