Im planing to buy a 5.1 speakers for my computer
My mobo is intel dg33fb it has a alc888
when i connect my normal front speakers to the rear one in the setup i hear sounds but i don't get any sound while listening to music or watching 2 channel audio. i tried the speaker fill option. its a real crap i don't get the original sound. Is there a way to fix this problem
If this problem is unfix-able im planning to buy a cheapest 5.1 sound blaster sound card. i googled they say that the rear speaker also works like normal speakers when listening to 2 channel.
Which one is better my on-board sound card or creative sound blaster.
Please Help me.

Hi Praga, Welcome to the Forum.

If you are going to buy the speakers anyway then try them first, Make sure that you have the newest audio driver installed, It is probably best to get it from your MB manufacturers website.
If thats no good then I would try the card
