Downgrade from windows7 enterprise to Ultimate?

Hello,

Just wondered if there is a way to downgrade from enterprise to ultimate ?

I have tried using microsoft downgrader but I have the following error

Access to the registry key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version" is denied.

any help/advice would be appreciated.

Same product, but afaik, no up/downgrade path. Different licensing system.
