Solved Download and install Service Pack 1

I have Windows 7 64 bit on a Lenovo desktop. I had to run Lenovo's Restore function which wiped the Hard Disk clean and reinstalled the operating system. Since then, I have run Windows Update repeatedly to try to bring the system back to the present day. A bunch of updates have been installed, but not SP-1. I tried downloading it at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842, and was told the computer was not ready for SP-1. (It did have SP-1 before the "restore" event.") How do I get Windows Update to continue updates ... (What I have been doing is Start>>window update, and then clicking on Window Updates) Thank you.

Right after sending the requested zip file, I ran windows update again, and at the bottom of a list of ten was SP-1. That list, including SP-1, is uploading as I write this message. I apologize for acting impatiently ... and I thank you for your support.
