Solved Download Windows with license number

I wonder whether it is possible to download windows with a license number.

Today I bought a PackardBell laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium x64. It did not come with a Windows disc, but there's an option to make a recovery disk. However, I suspect that this will also add all the PackardBell crap which I'm trying to get rid off by performing a new installation, so this is not really an option. Furthermore I doubt whether it's a good idea to restore your system by simply making a copy of everything on your hard drive rather than doing a clean install.

So my question is, is it possible to obtain a download or disc of Windows 7, without needing to pay a fortune. After all, I already own a license of Windows 7 for this laptop.
Will the license key on my laptop work with any install of Windows 7 Home Premium x64, whether obtained legally or not?

you can get an official copy here and activate it using your key that is on the base of your lappy
