Downloading Updates Manually: No 7-specific Version Listed?

Going through some known Win7 updates, a manual search through MS catalog shows options (under one KB number) for xp, vista, and different server versions, but no 7-specific option. How does one decide which version is suitable for their version of 7 - outside of using the automatic update website?

Hi iron7,

I am not quite following you.

Are you talking about specific KB updates or updates in general?
Are you talking generally or after a clean install?
Normally on the Microsoft Update Catalog it lists the different OS's and bit versions for a specific KB number!

Searching for specific KB updates on the catalog, some KBs I know are for 7, have no version labeled for 7.

I was helping on a friend's system at the time, but saw it referencing some KBs from the rollup list.
